Project Summary
The Adolescent Girls Empowerment (AGE) Project is part of the Adolescent Girls Power Program (AGPP) and received funding from the Children’s Rights and Violence Prevention Fund (CRVPF), a Uganda-based organisation. started with a six-month Planning and Learning phase commencing from its onset in early October 2022 to March 2023 with a total funding of USD 5,468 equivalent to TZS 12,877,000.00., then follow with the long term phase I a 12-month initiative implemented from October 2023 to September 2024.

It successfully contributed to the social and economic empowerment of adolescent girls (AGs), including young mothers, within the Arumeru Cluster comprising the Nduruma and Oloirien wards in Arusha District Council, Arusha Region. With a budget of TZS 90,607,100.00 (approximately USD 36,243). Now moving on the second phase of the project with expectation to commerce on July 2025 to June 2026 with expectation of a budget of TZS 52,327,600.00, equivalent to USD 20,126.00.
