Organisation Structure

Description
The DNG Tanzania is a member-based non-government organisation made up and governed by constitutionally established organs or bodies. The organisation is categorised their organs in two categories;
- First, there is a Governing Body (comprising a General Meeting and a Board of Directors). The organisation governing bodies are the overseer of the organisation day to day responsibilities.
- Secondly, there is a Management body (which includes organisation staff led by the Executive Director). The organisation management body is responsible for implementing the day-to-day activities of the organisation including directives from the governing bodies of the organisation. The management body is reporting to the governing organs of the organisation.
General Meeting - AGM
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the DNG Tanzania is a supreme organ of the organisation which is composed of all members of the organisation, board members, staff, and invitees. The decision in this meeting shall be by a majority vote of members who attended the meeting.
Board of Directors - BD
The board of directors is among the governing body of the organisation which oversees the management of the organisation by approving the budget, program, and staffing, and giving strategic directions and directives to the management.
Management Team - MT
This is also a vital part of the organisation which is carried out all tasks and activities of the organisation. The management team includes a number of staff to fill in programs and projects, finance, and partnership, they are all under the supervision of the Executive Director of the organisation.
The Communities
Refer to the entire communities whereby the organisation work, and in one way they are affected by the organisation's operations. The communities involve the target groups of the organisation both primary and secondary, donors, partners, and much more.
