Theory of Change
"A Theory of Change (ToC) outlines how and why changes are expected to happen as a result of an organisation's activities. It is a road map that visually depicts the causal pathways between an organisation's inputs, activities, outputs, outcomes, and impact."
Theory of Change Narrative
If DNG Tanzania can put more efforts on the following:-
- Invest in women's economic empowerment, leadership, and environmental knowledge through vocational training, microfinance, and capacity building.
- Support community-led conservation efforts through reforestation, agroforestry, and natural resource management.
- Promote gender equality and women's participation in decision-making processes at all levels.
- Build strong partnerships with government, communities, and other stakeholders.
Then from those efforts this will happen:-
- Women and girls will have increased income, decision-making power, and leadership roles.
- Communities will have improved livelihoods, strengthened resilience to climate change, and enhanced environmental stewardship.
- Gender equality will be integrated into environmental management and resource allocation.
- Sustainable development will be achieved through the harmonious balance of social, economic, and environmental factors.
Ultimately, this will lead to:-
- Empowered communities thriving in harmony with nature.
- A Communities where gender equality is a reality.
Key Assumptions:-
- Effective implementation of programs.
- Government support for gender equality and environmental conservation.
- Community engagement and ownership of projects.
- Adequate funding for programs.
- Measurable and achievable targets.
